Day 1

This morning started rather promising, my dad tried breaking me from the get-go. I got to school with a bunch of cock-eyed looks directed at me. As I walked the hallways with the "Day Number" board around my neck, I received some good support and more confused faces. Later realized everyone believed it to be merely an April Fools joke. Advocacy Club, was filled with blank stares but still rather simple. My friend, Michael and I just listened to Ipod for the period. Same blank stares through my Art TA class. By Ms. White's 2nd period AP Eng-lit class, I was already starting to receive bribes, and just straight out harassment. No names (coughs*, Brooke and Thompson). A little light teasing from Ms. White. Finally I reached lunch, got sit relax, clear my head from the distorted voices from the past 3 hours. Nick Pelayo came in mocking my cause, sure he is one of my oldest friends... but to joke about killing a Ugandan child is just down right twisted. 3rd period didn't get any easier, although full of silent laughs. My best friend, Nicholas was joking about making me break, but really was trying get me at ease. I swear, holding your tongue around Nicholas Garcia is virtually impossible, which is why I bit mine. Mr. O'Heron got some cute jabs in as well, calling on me for an answer... very funny. Once I reached my 4th period class, I felt so relieved to be away from students. The office assistants had some light joking but overall commended me. I ATE PIZZA!!! YAY! Ok, anyway... after school Maria and I went to work on our Mural for with Mr. Renner again. It is very difficult when the project manger can't talk btw. When we were finished, The VP fomerly known as Stephens came up to me and asked "how 1 day of silenced is?". I worte "tough" out on my note pad. She told me "I might learn alot about myself". I got home, and buried myself in music. Just my Strat and I. Never had I felt so much pressure, but this is what I want to do. I will not be deterred. Only 24 days left... 24.
